Vintage Rediscovered finds forgotten and overlooked treasures from the past and brings them to the present. Some are perfect. Some need a little TLC. Some need a lot of TLC. Some need so much TLC that they need to be reimagined, reinvented, and repurposed as something else altogether.

Distinguished California artist Marcus Uzilevsky, was most known for his linear landscapes and music series ans is represented in the permanent collections of numerous museums around the world. Since 1974 he has had over 50 one-man shows and obtained many awards in juried museum competitions.
Originally from New York City, he graduated from the School of Art and Design and has been painting, drawing, printmaking and making music ever since. His stylistic explorations range from linear to pointillist landscapes, from gestural impressions of music to the lush color and patterns of his Homage to Klimt series.
His early musical endeavors include performing on Dick Clark's American Bandstand, jamming with Bob Dylan in Greenwich Village, touring with The New Christy Minstrels, working with renowned producer Phil Spector and producing/recording for the CBS, Reprise and Folkways/Smithsonian record labels.
In 1967 Uzilevsky's multi-faceted creative odyssey led him from New York to California, where he now resides. His universal appeal has been substantiated by the sale of over a half million lithographs in multiple styles.
Art and music merged in the 1988 performance of his Folk Symphony for Sara by the Arlington Symphony Orchestra. His orchestral compositions enhanced by projected images combined the best of Uzilevsky's visual and musical chromatics.
Walking into an antique store has always felt like walking into a museum. It was always interesting to see things from before I was born, when my parents were young, and even further back in the past. Now things from my youth are considered "Vintage". At 50, I wasn't sure how to feel about that at first, but now I like coming across those vintage things and dusting off the memories that go with them. These bits of the past are sometimes perfect, sometimes in need of a little TLC, and sometimes in need of a lot of TLC. No matter what their condition, far to often these pieces of history and the memories they embody just fade away and are forgotten.
At Vintage Rediscovered, we are always looking for these forgotten items--furniture, art, decor, housewares, jewelry, collectables, ephemera, and memorabilia--and giving them a second chance. If you are in search of something in particular that we don't already have, we'd love the chance to try to find it for you. Just give us a shout. We are constantly looking, finding, and adding items, so please check back regularly.
